About Me.
Hello everyone, my name is Steven Castro, a Long Beach, California native. Sports photography/videography started out as a hobby for me, but with hard work and dedication, my hope is to combine two passions of mine to establish a growing and thriving career. I’ve been passionate about sports ever since I was young and I absolutely relish the feeling of capturing the action as it happens. My goal is to try to grasp the atmosphere and emotion of the moment and have that be reflected in the images I produce.

I studied and finished my baseball career here at Whittier College where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management, sparking my interest in Sports Media. Through my work study position, I was able to gain valuable work experience in collegiate sports including baseball, softball, football, volleyball, and basketball.

ORANGE COUNTY LEGENDS
BASEBALL CLUB
A collegiate summer team aiming to give players a taste of college baseball. Created in 2019 as a part of the Long Beach Legends baseball club competing out of the Sunset Baseball league. One of California's top amateur baseball league providing competitive baseball each year.
